Jennifer started writing as a wee tot, then spent too many years working "reliable" jobs before she decided it was time to stop being a sissypants and make writing a serious endeavor. Though she has her wildly erratic résumé to thank for much fiction-worthy fodder.
Jennifer finally seems to have found her niche at an academic library, where she's convinced being surrounded by books jump-started her desire to write again. In decent weather, you can find her (sometimes muttering profanity) at her makeshift desk—a lawn chair pulled up to a concrete wall— with a truncated view of Sears (yes, Sears) tower.
Between attempts to turn her kitty into a lap cat, she's working on her second and third novels, a collection and querying the first. Progress is slow on all fronts.
